Set Features;

Each sealed box contains 12 packs of 5 cards each in a 100 card base set including 50 Rookies 1:1 (#`d to 1199). >>> Each PACK contains ONE Memorabilia or ONE Autograph card. >>> Each BOX contains EIGHT Memorabilia cards (six single and three triple) and FOUR Autograph cards (two rookie, one triple, and one veteran). Parallel sets: Veteran/Retired (Orange > #`d to 399, Red > #`d to 99, Blue > #`d to 25, and Black > #`d to 10) and Rookies (Hardwood > #`d to 199, Orange > #`d to 99, Red > #`d to 50, Blue > #`d to 10, and Black > each is a 1-of-1). Base and Insert Cards;

The 2007-08 Trademark Moves logo is in either the upper left or right hand corner (depending on pic used), the players name is down at the bottom along with the players team. A real nice clean design to the front of the cards and photography that makes the player jump out at you from the card. The bio is short and sweet and only lists when the player was drafted and the college attended. There is a section called "Trademark Move" that describes some of the previous seasons trial and tribulations of the player and team.

Rookie Cards;

The rookie cards are of the exact same design as the base with a couple of exceptions. The Rookie designation is below the Trademark Moves logo and the bottom of the card is Gold instead of silver. You get a base rookie card in every pack, so we pulled (12) total. The rookie cards are numbered in Gold to /1999. Here's a list of the rookies we pulled from our box;

Haluska, Hill, McRoberts, Richard, Fazekas, Belinelli
Young, Wright, Pruitt, Law IV, Brooks, Oden

Game-Used Cards (8) Per Box;

The game-used have to be seen to really appreciate the way they look. All of the cards pulled have very nice quality with no flaws to be seen. The wood background, swatch of jersey, the gold numbering along with the superb photos make this a real collectible set. All of the game-used are from the NBA All-Star Game or from photoshoots at that time at the All-Star weekend extravaganza.

Autograph Cards (4) Per Box;

The autographs are on the same background of wood just like the game-used cards. The stickers are presented in such a way as to not detract from the look of the cards at all. The two rookie autographed jersey cards are of Jermareo Davidson of the Charlotte Bobcats /139 and Sean Williams of the New Jersey Nets /79. The veteran autograph is of Vince Carter of the New Jersey Nets /49. The triple in this box is of the Charlotte Bobcats Emeka Okafor, Adam Morrison and Raymond Felton /10.

Final Thoughts on 2007-08 Topps Trademarks Basketball;

Topps has sold me on their Trademark Moves product! The guarantee of a Hit in every pack, (4) autographs and (8) game-used is a big attraction to these higher priced products. The guaranteed triple autograph is a BIG selling point in my opinion as well. The high-quality of the product is another good selling point again. These boxes can usually be had for between $111 and $249 on most sites that I have checked. So, seeing this comparison if you decide to try some of this product, do some wise shopping for these. If you can get them near the $111 price tag, it's a great bargain!
